Dr. Carmen Messerlian created Vie so you can approach fertility with confidence, clarity, and the science to let life flourish.

A former Harvard professor, NIH-funded researcher, and pioneering voice in environmental and reproductive health, Carmen has spent her career studying how biology, behavior, and environment shape fertility across the lifespan. She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers — but her real passion is making science usable for the people it was always meant to serve.

Throughout her work, Carmen has uncovered patterns and insights that help people understand their bodies in a way that feels human, intuitive, and empowering.

At the center of her vision is fertility intelligence — the idea that when individuals and couples truly understand what is happening in their reproductive biology, they can make more informed choices, prevent issues earlier, and optimize their potential for healthy outcomes.
